Privacy Policy

• Account details: your email address and, if you give it, your name.
• Sign-in: sign-in is handled by Google Firebase Authentication, with email and password or your Google account. We receive your email, name and a Firebase user ID; we never see your Google password.
• Paper trading: your simulated orders, positions, balances and history.
• Uploaded portfolio CSVs: the holdings in any broker CSV you upload. They are stored privately for your account only.
• Security and usage: sign-in events, IP address, the time you accepted our Terms, and basic logs needed to keep the Service secure.

To run your account, show your own paper trading and portfolio, keep the Service secure and prevent abuse, and improve the Service. Your data is not used to personalize picks: picks are the same for everyone.

Your paper trades and uploaded holdings are private to your account. Other members cannot see them. The site administrator can see account details and summary information as needed to operate and secure the Service.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help run SmartTrade, such as Google Firebase (sign-in) and our hosting provider, and when required by law.

We keep your data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and data by emailing us; we may keep limited records where the law requires.

We use encrypted connections, private per-user data access and limited admin access. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

SmartTrade is only for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy and will change the “Last updated” date when we do.
